Guys, winter here in Anchorage is getting long. And the longer we sit in the cold, the weirder we get. Last weekend was an unreal -25 degrees!
When planning Paige's senior photo session, we decided to do a little pre / off season senior photoshoot. Sure, we could have done snow photos, or someplace nice like a studio or even the library. But remember how said winter is making us weird?
I present - Paige at the gas station! (Thank you Holiday on Dimond for not making us feel crazy here.)

Paige is one of my daughter's friends, and I'm going to call her out here: I'm pretty certain the only time they actually hang out is to go get slushies, at Paige's request. And so when planning a session that capture's her vibe, the immediate idea is SLUSHIES!!!
Is this a regional thing: do you call it slushie, slurpee, icee?
Anyways, didn't she SLAY it?! I seriously told her, don't overthing your outfit (is IS a gas station afterall), and so she represented Alaska style (minus the boots, so I guess we could say she toned it down a bit.)

Casual, colorful, hopped up on sugar, these were so much fun.
